Word For The Day: Stressed!!!!!!!!!

This picture is exactly how I feel at work right now! Since my last post a few things have happened. They fired someone at work so they asked if I would like to move up into the Customer Service dept and of course I said YES:) They hired someone else to do my job and now I'm learning something completely different. I feel like I was finally starting to get the hang of my other position and now I have to learn a whole new thing. Today was my 1st day of training and I feel like my brain is exhausted.. So wish me luck that the rest of the week goes by better.. Ahhhhhhh.. Time to eat then pass out.  Hope you all are having a better Monday than I am

Its going to be a small post because its almost bed time for me.. I ended up getting the job  I interviewed for last week..Yayy:) So far so good and I have every Friday off too!!! I working four, 10 hour days but having a 3 day weekend definitely makes up for it. Still getting used to the early mornings ( I start at 6:30) but I'm sure Ill get used to it.  Oh, and it takes me no longer than 20 min to get there and back:) Thanks to everyone who sent good lucks and texts.. 11 Things That made me Happy This Past Week:)

1. Job Interview- It had been awhile since I got a call back from applying EVERYWHERE. I had an interview in Corona on Friday and I think I did real good but there were so many applicants there so you never know. It just felt good to walk out of there knowing I did a good job even if I don't get it.

2. Night out- J and I went out for a friends bday on Saturday and had a blast!! We danced to an 80's band and then the DJ and had the most fun!

3. My doggy Cody- This week I didn't get to see J for 4 days! Soooooo Cody kept me company a lot:) Hes almost 11 years old and still has the funnest personality.. Just love him so much:)

4. Shopping- My mom was off on Friday so we made a  trip to Victoria Gardens where my sis works at a bathing suit shop.. I got 2 new suits, shoes, and few more things.. Score!!! Oh.. and a nice lunch with my sis and Mom

5.Getting my hair done- My hair is sooo naturally dark and I usually like it done light so when my roots grow out its not a very pretty sight so I was very happy to have it looking nice again. She also thinned out my  hair on the bottom so I can try to wear it down more:) So far so good.. Lovin my new hair!

7. Justin- Everyday I realize just how much more I fall in love with this man. I'm reminded every time were together how blessed we are to have each other.. Hes my best friend and he makes this girl very, very HAPPY:)

8.Church- We went to church last night with J's family and it was great:)

9- Beach day- Spent most of the day yesterday at the Beach riding bikes, laying out, eating:)

10- My TV Shows- I cant believe how many shows I LOVE to watch. I'm pathetic..lol. They make me happy though:)

11- Exercise- Got me a new pair of shoes at Nordstroms Rack to try to start running on the treadmill more. My old  shoes would hurt my toes:(  I broke them in last week and they feel good. Hopefully now I can start running more and maybe start to like it..haha

Sunday night J and I attended church and I felt like God talked to me. There was a band there called FIREFLIGHT and I'm so happy I was there to see them. We usually attend church in the morning but it was so rainy we decided to sleep in and attend the night service and good thing we did. They sang a few songs and after one of the songs I started crying, and not just a tear I was balling like a baby. I'm not sure if it was because I felt the holy spirit or because if it was guilt. Guilt of not being the best person I know I can be.


As a child I went to church all the time. Twice on Sundays and even on Wednesdays. My father was a pastor in Corona for many years. When I started getting a bit older I started to resent my Dad  for making me go to church ALL the time. I hated it sometimes! Some Sundays I wanted to hang out with my friends but was not allowed to. By the time I turned 18 I stopped going all together. I went for special occasions and as the years went on I would attend every once in a while. Thank God Justin came into my life because as soon as we started dating we attend church very frequently. I'm ashamed of not being there for so long. I have many great memories of church and I think a lot of times I resented church because of fighting with my Father. I used to see him up there preaching and think how can you be up there preaching to be this way and you're different at home. FYI he wasn't a bad dad he was just VERY strict and Jennifer did not like that..lol


I'm thankful that I have a man that Loves God and wants to serve him. I hope to continue this tradition with our family when we get married because I think that's the way to raise your children.In church. I'm thankful to my parents for having me there every single week and I will try to be a better Christian because my heart feels much happier when I go..


Lately things haven't been so peachy. Not working very much, dad is still not working, some friends that I thought were my good friends are not, J and I weren't 100%... My friends always tell me you and J seem to never fight and always seem so happy. Don't get me wrong we are extremely happy together but we do fight, & we do fix things because we love each other and want to make it work. One thing I really love about Justin is that he never threatens me with a breakup. In my past relationship we would be back and forth all the time. That's the way I knew how to handle a fight. So when me and J would have an argument I would say "lets just not be togetehr then" and  he would say I don't play games and if you really want it to be over then its really over. So we never say those words anymore. Were not teenagers anymore so no time for the BS.

Overall I have to look at the glass half full and not half empty. Beyond BLESSED for a lot of things in my life and some things aren't perfect but I'm sure things will get better. Things can always be worse.. right?  Everyone has storms they go through and theres a mini one in parts of my life but I know that there's a rainbow soon to come:)

Weekend Recap

Friday night me, J, and his parents went out to Menifee to have dinner with J's brother and his family:) We went to a yummy pizza place and afterwards we went back to J's bros house and enjoyed some cake and played with his niece:) I finally got the courage to carry Zoe. Shes a lil over a month now and still is light as a feather. I was very nervous but then after a couple minutes I felt more comfortable. Man.. I don't know how these Mamas do it all day long.  My arm was killing me after 5 minutes carrying a newborn..lol I'm going to have some trouble when I finally have one.

Love watching them together.. J is def gonna be a great Daddy:)

Saturday we went to the mall and I was on the hunt for some black wedges.. I found the perfect ones at Reflection and of course they did not have my size:( Size 7 seems to always run out too fast! So.... I'm on the hunt again.. Thinking Ill go online today:) J had a successful shopping day and bought himself some shirts and a couple shorts. His clothes aren't fitting him anymore so he had to go shopping. That boy has to be forced to buy himself anything..lol

I did find these and got them for $6 ..Score!:)

Saturday night we went to Citrus City Grille and had nice night out with 3 other couples.. Fun Fun!! We enjoyed some music and had a great night:)

Sunday was a fun filled day at the beach.. We went with J's parents and had the most fun. We rode bikes, had lunch, layed out, and just enjoyed a beautiful day:) My bestie was at Balboa taking her engagement pics so J and I rode bikes there to go have a quick visit! :)

All and all it was great weekend and today I'm exhausted. The sun really drained me out. Think were gonna try to go at least every other weekend. Always a fun time. Hope you all had a great weekend!! :)

Its been a rough week for me and my family but I'm happy to say that my Dad is not letting this hardship get him down. Hes very optimistic that God has something better in store for him and I'm very Happy that hes not letting this get him down!! Thank you everyone for your good thoughts and prayers.. It really means a lot to me. Were very lucky to have so many people praying for my Dad such as family, friends, church members.

The #1 person that has kept my spirits high is of course Justin! He knows that sometimes all you need is a text to make you feel better and that's the kind of man he is. The small things are what counts the most for me.

Why Do Bad Things Happen To Good People????

My heart is breaking right now.. My Dad lost his job yesterday:( I want to take away his sadness and just make everything better for him. I hate seeing my Mom & Dad like this. I'm asking now for your prayers for my family at this time.. Through this time I know its important to stay positive and believe that God has something better for him. My dad is a Godly man, was a pastor for many many years. He is the hardest worker I know and I don't know how these mean people did this to him.We have God in our hearts and in our home and I'm sure hes going to be fine but right now its so very hard to believe and I hate it.. I'm having bad thoughts about these people who did it to him and I know I shouldn't be thinking like this. I cant stop crying for the hurt my Dad is going through. Hope my attitude changes soon because I can be no help to anyone like this. Thank you!!!!
