Lots of Weekend Fun!!

I had a great weekend. Had friend time, bf time, family time & Jesus time. Just an overall great weekend:)


Friday night Justin and I decided to go to Shamrocks.. I had been there once before and I really liked it so I wanted Justin to see it. He hated it when it was AUSTINS. I didn’t care for it either then but he was surprised to see how much different it is now. The atmosphere was just totally different. So he gave it 2 thumbs up:) We saw our friend Shannon there & we were happy to catch up a bit too:)

Saturday we had my best friends baby shower to go to. I’m soo excited for her to have her baby. She already has a boy and now she’s having a girl. It’s just so perfect!!:) Justin and I got there around 1 and we had fun eating, talking with friends, and playing games.. My fave was the poopie diaper game.. So funny:)

After all the baby shower fun we went to Sushi. We tried a new place in Corona on Ontario not sure what its called but it was amazing. I loved it so much & can’t wait to go back. Justin’s friend met us and then we went to go have a drink at this bar called 26degrees.. After that we met friends at Taps, stayed there for a bit and then went to Chronic Cantina.. I had never been to the Corona one and from pictures I’ve seen on the web site I didn’t really want to go there but the rest of the party wanted to so I had no say.lol. We got there and I was happy to see that there was a DJ. I get so excited when I know Ill be listening to music and dancing. I danced my lil bootie off..hehe;) I feel like we had a long, long day so by 12:30 I was pooped out. Don’t think ill go back soon cause the crowd there is just not my style you can say:)

Sunday morning we went to Harvest church. I really enjoy it. The worship, just everything is so nice:) I love listening to the singers; they all have such beautiful voices. After church we went to Fridays to get our grub on. So yummmmmyyyy:) We pigged out..lol. The rest of the afternoon consisted of getting groceries for Justin’s work lunches, watching the Lakers game & napping. Justin starts his work week tonight so I won’t get to see him till Wednesday:( I have the hardest working man. He has 2 jobs, and still feels like he wants to do more.

Tonight I’m excited just to relax and watch all my TV shows.. Hope all of you had a great weekend:)

Weekends Were Made For Fun & 5 Question Friday

                                                        

1. Name some of your bad habits?
Hmmm... My bad habits I would have to say are biting my nails(not so much anymore), I pick scabs(yes, i know its gross), I leave things out all over my room after I try things on. My bf has a few others. I really didn't notice these things until my bf pointed them out but in his eyes my bad habits are I play with my nails too much, I chew popcorn loud & I smack my gum loud too.haha.

2.Would you consider yourself a pushover?
I used to be a big big pushover.. My friend used to always tell me that I needed to stick up for myself more. I eventually did and it felt great. I used to be considered the really "nice" one meaning the one that they could step all over, but not anymore..haha. I'm still nice but you mess with me WATCH OUT!!! :)

3. How many hours of sleep do you need to function?
I still feel to be 100% during the day I need 8 hours. I go on 6,7 sometimes but I don't feel great.

4. Are you a news, politics or celebrity gossip junkie?

Politics not so much. I know I should know more but it bores me a lot of the time. I love watching the news and I am a huge, huge celebrity freak. Its really bad. Anytime we play games with the family that involve celebrities I know almost all the answers.

5. What is your favorite "cocktail"? (Are you a beer person, a kiddie cocktail junkie, or perhaps your more the "Cosmo" kind?! Anything flies...doesn't hafta be alcoholic.
I like to switch it up. I love me a Corona w lime & salt most of the time. I love me a nice Margarita, glass of Pinot, Mojito, or anything fruity:)




Last night J went with me to go buy my gf a baby shower gift. We went to Babies R us. I didn't know what to get there was sooo much cute stuff. I wanted to buy EVERYTHING!! Let me tell you when I see this stuff I get soooo excited to have a lil one. I cant wait to dress him/her up its just going to be so much fun. I hope it happens sooner than later cause I'm getting old.lol


This weekend we have my best friends coed baby shower.Never been to a coed baby shower but sounds fun:) Sunday we hope to go to church, its been a few weeks and I feel like I need to get my Jesus on because I always feel better after I do. Hope all of you have a fab weekend and I cant wait to hear about it:)

Crying like a baby to American Idol

Last night on AI they had the saddest story. This guys fiancee got in an awful accident and had terrible brain injury. It showed how hes stayed with her and is her care taker and OMG I couldn't stop the tears. Please watch the video It was just so beautiful to me how someone can love someone so much. This poor woman will  never be the same  and no matter what he has stayed with her. Just made me think "this is what love really is". Just a beautiful, beautiful story. Hope you all enjoy it as much as I did:)

So I don't have the $ to go get a manicure all the time so I have to do it myself. I don't mind it but does anyone else have this problem???

ha ha!!!! I can never seem to do my right hand nice. Just soo frustrating. I have a bad left hand so I cant bend it certain ways so maybe its just me but man that's a really bad job..lol:)

On Friday J came to get me and we headed to watch a movie. We watched "The Dilemma" with Vince Vaughn & Kevin James. I loved it. J said he didnt care for it so much and he would just recommend to see it red box. Oh well we have our different opinions about all some things. haha jk I thought it was very funny & I loved loved Channing Tatum in it. I never used to think he was very cute until I saw "Dear John" but man o man he looks 2xs hotter in this movie:).. After the movie we just went back to his house and watched some tv.. I couldnt sleep for most of the night, not sure what was wrong but I know one reason was Justins snoring.. He snored a lot of the night which is weird because he usually never does. I wanted to roll him over and I kept coughing loud on purpose so he could wake up and stop but that boy was out.lol

On Saturday morning J & I went to Dennys for breakfast. I told myself I wasnt going to eat bad but the french toast were calling out to me.:) So worth it!! Ill just workout out a lil more this week. After I was dropped off I got ready because my mom told me and my sis that she wanted to take us shopping:) Told ya I have the nicest mommy:) I got a few things from forever 21 and I got some skinny grey jeans that i love love:) They fit so nice and are some comfy. After that we walked around the Chino Hills Shoppes a bit and then came home. The rest of the day I just relaxed and I rented Eclipse. So far my favorite from all of the saga.. I loved it!! I had a movie night with my self because J had to work ( I hate when he works Weekends)

Sunday was a pretty chill day.. I worked out, cleaned & organized my room and then hung out with my mom and watched Tv. Tonight I have some shows to watch Bridalplasty, Kim & Kourtney take New York & Basketball Wives. Hope all of you had a graet weekend:)



As you can see I had a lot to clean..lol

When rushing I leave everything out then I have more stuff to clean later.. Need to work on that.

1. What movie could you watch over and over again and not get tired of?

Sleepless In Seattle.. I’m in love with that movie:) 

2. What's your biggest pet peeve right now?
People who constantly say bad words. Drives me crazyyyy. I have a friend that says the "F" word every other word. I feel like slapping her all the time. lol

3. If you had to describe your best friend in five words or less, what would you say?

Loyal, funny, pretty, kind, great listener. I know its not 5 words but whateva:)

4. If you did not have to worry about money or go to school what would you do for a living?

I would travel I would be on vacation all year long. Pretty beaches, lying out with a cocktail in my hand.

5. What is your one "splurge" item, that you will always buy, no matter the cost?

I don’t really "splurge" on anything but if I would have to say something it would have to be my M.A.C. cosmetics:)

Last  night I went out with some of my girlfriends. I feel soo sick today:( Only a couple drinks makes me feel that way now. Sucks!! Anyways heres a few pics of the night. Hope all of you have a great weekend!! :)

American Idol

HAPPY HUMP DAY!!! :)

So tonight American Idol starts and I am really looking forward to it. I'm excited to see the good singers,bad ones, and most of all the really weird ones:) But the main reason I'm excited is because Jennifer Lopez is one of the judges. I absolutely love her!!! She is honestly the most beautiful celebrity to me. She always looks perfect.. Her clothes,makeup,hair. Even when shes out and about with just  her sweats on she looks great. I'm excited to see what kind of clothes shes gonna be wearing and makeup and hoping to get some tips while watching:)



Exercise blahs...

So for about a year now I have been consistently been trying to exercise at least 2,3xs a week, and boy do I HATE it.. I mean I love the way I feel after and I love seeing the pounds go away but I just get so darn bored on my elliptical machine.ha ha.. I've lost about 15 pounds and I'm thinking I want another 10 off and ill be happy. It doesnt  help that I love my cheeseburgers,mexican food,chocolate still so the weight doesnt come off as fast as I want..   Anyways The next couple months I'm going to try to be more strict with my diet. I cant be having too many more of the weekends of greasy food, candy etc. I have this damn pooch that wont go away so was looking for some suggestions on what to do??? :)  So wish me luck on trying to be more fit because the summer will be here before I know it and I wanna feel nice in my bathing suit this year:)

Weekend Recap

FRIDAY- We had a mellow Friday night. We went to get snacks and I brought board games and that was pretty much our night but alot of fun.

We were piggys Fri.. Can you tell? haha:)

SATURDAY- We decided to go to Miguels and go get a drink. A couple of Justins friends were at Ra so we went there after. They had a dj so that was fun. If theres good tunes playin I always have the most fun:)

SUNDAY- Justin had to wake up early to take his Dad to LAX. Left for Japan for a week:) What fun but sooo long of a plane ride, dont think I could ever do that. Anyway he came back and we got ready to go to lunch. We went to Round table. OMG it was soo yummmyyyyy:) Then we went to a few stores to shop around and walk off some of that greasy pizza.  Later that evening we went to dinner for Justins brother Blakes bday. We went to BJs with his family and enjoyed some good food. I can never go wrong with food I get at Bjs,everything is always so good.  We then enjoyed some Butter finger ice cream cake at the Smallwoods home and after that we called it a night:) Great weekend!! Hope all of you enjoyed yours:)
